After a highly praised first collaboration, Chef Peter Park has teamed up with Anthony Vaccarello to create the Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris. With its doors set to open this Friday, February 21, this new venue offers a privileged immersion into the art of Japanese cuisine. This sophisticated setting invites you to experience Omakase, amid decor that blends tradition and minimalism. An intimate and gastronomic rendezvous, where seasonal products will be crafted with ancestral know-how, promising a unique journey for your taste buds.

Saint Laurent Rive Droite and Sushi Park: the collaboration of know-how

The Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris highlights culinary art and its many crafts. This new culinary chapter follows a previous exclusive collaboration, a pop-up, between Chef Peter Park and the fashion house in 2022. This time, the duo aimed to create a permanent meeting place centered around Japanese cuisine in the French capital. This Sushi Park location is thus the first to open across the Atlantic, solidifying the bond formed between the two units. The Saint Laurent Saint-Honoré boutique is transforming its basement, ready to take you on a sensory journey.

This new venue celebrates craftsmanship in various forms. Aiming to be clean and sophisticated, the space unveils a minimalist decor that is both traditional and modern. The place is designed to be sensory, with noble materials such as wood, paper, glass, steel, and waxed concrete. The dim ambiance of the restaurant is softened by a few light fixtures playing with Japanese shapes and folds.

An elegant and warm touch is brought through the tableware. These pieces, crafted by ceramist Daeyong Kim, reflect the DNA of Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris while showcasing the culinary creations presented on them.

Behind the culinary creations at Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris is its namesake chef Peter Park. World-renowned, his address in West Hollywood attracts a list of clients that would make those at the Oscars and Golden Globes green with envy. Located on Sunset Boulevard since 2006, his restaurant has distinguished itself through the quality and seasonality of its products, as well as the experience it offers its guests. (Guests are prohibited from taking photos, further fueling curiosity around this prestigious venue of Japanese gastronomy.)

The unique culinary experience signed by Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris

Get ready for a unique and privileged culinary journey at Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris. Far from being just a restaurant, this venue presents itself as a place of experience. A moment of meet and share, where the master sushi chef’s know-how sets the rhythm of your gustatory escape.

Especially prevalent since the 1990s, Omakase is a ritual based on values of trust and creativity. Translated as “I leave it to you,” guests are invited to sit in front of a chef preparing their meal before their eyes. This experience encourages living in the moment and being amazed by both the traditional techniques used and the combinations of textures and flavors offered. This moment, both intimate and privileged, highlights the seasonal products of Japanese cuisine and the knowledge associated with them.

Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris will introduce you to the art of Japanese cuisine, blending creativity with the precision of ancestral know-how. While adhering to a minimalist style, the dishes are designed to infuse a note of innovation into tradition. On the menu side, we discover a lunch menu priced at 70 euros. Meanwhile, Chef Peter Park’s Omakase experience is offered at 110/160 euros for lunch and 210/260 euros for dinner. A wine and sake pairing is also available, priced at 45/75 euros for lunch and 55/85 euros for dinner.

A privileged rendezvous at a sophisticated launch

In addition to the stunning photos revealed to us, a short video teasing the restaurant’s opening emphasizes the glamorous and hidden side of this Japanese jewel. We find Dominic Sessa, Vassili Schneider, Lourdes Leon, Saint Levant, and Lennon Gallagher under the watchful eye of Pierre-Ange Carlotti. Seduction and secrecy are present in this short format, echoing Anthony Vaccarello’s love for imagery, which we have already appreciated in theaters through the work of Saint Laurent Productions on Strange Way of Life and Emilia Pérez.

The rendezvous is set at 8 rue du 29 juillet, 75001 Paris. Open from Tuesday to Saturday, the restaurant welcomes you for lunch and dinner. However, it is advisable to make a reservation.

Additionally, if you are more of a coffee person, we tested the Café Saint Laurent for you! And, on the exhibition side, the Flowers of Yves Saint Laurent exhibition is presented until May 4, 2025.
