From Paris to London, through New York, Los Angeles, and even Seoul, a breath of Provence graces the boutiques of the French designer, transformed into a Jacquemus market. A decor designed to enhance the release of his new bag, Le Valérie, into which it will be delightful to slip some leather charms found among the couturier’s stalls. Combining emotion and immersive experience, the French designer once again masters storytelling to perfection, offering us a unique customer experience, as poetic as it is authentic.
The Le Valérie bag, between emotion and mature silhouette
Unveiled during his “Le Paysan” show and made available to the public a few days ago, Jacquemus’s new Le Valérie bag is a symbolic piece for the designer. Named after his mother, who passed away 17 years ago, this handbag carries with it many memories, presenting itself as a heartfelt tribute.

On the occasion of its release, a series of videos made alongside Charlotte Le Bon has been unveiled, reminiscent of the past. We tenderly and candidly dive into all those precious moments that reflect the vibrant personality of this maternal and feminine figure.
A piece designed to last
The Le Valérie bag stands as an important piece in the brand’s history. Both in its inspiration and its craftsmanship. It reveals a piece intended to be more mature, reflecting the latest collections. The lines showcase a more elevated aesthetic while maintaining the creative and minimalist DNA of Simon Porte Jacquemus. The bag aspires to be timeless, with precise construction, showcasing defined edges, a structured handle, and a golden or silver buckle as a clasp, complementing the creation like a piece of jewelry.
The Le Valérie bag from Jacquemus also underscores a desire to rethink the crafting of pieces, creating designs that will endure through time. And why not, that might be passed down from generation to generation.

On one hand, the bag is the first to have bottom feet to protect its leather when placed down. Also, the choice of materials aims for better durability and easier maintenance of the piece. Partly, through the crafting of the bag’s interior and lamb leather pockets, rather than the usual fabric/cotton.
Simon Porte Jacquemus unveils his new creation through two models, a small and a large one. Both in a goat leather version and one in calf suede. In terms of colors, the small Valérie is available in seven hues, including khaki, pink, red, or camel. For the large model, four colors are offered.
The Jacquemus market: Continuation of a well-thought-out storytelling
Whether in the brand’s fashion shows, events and special corners, or other exhibitions… One of Jacquemus’s highlights is its approach to storytelling. Offering a true dive into the creator’s universe, his roots, and inspirations each time, the brand manages to maintain a certain authenticity that allows it to stand out. Once again, the designer and his team hit the mark with the creation of a Jacquemus market to celebrate the release of the Le Valérie bag.
Immersion in Provence at the Jacquemus market
Wicker baskets, crates of lemons, and charms shaped like leeks and hammers… The setting is prepared to let our minds wander, and we could even hear the cicadas singing! The Jacquemus market is a cocoon that smells of Provence and honors the world of farmers.

Here, the customer journey is designed to be immersive. On one hand, through the carefully curated decor. Little branded leather crates (some from the Le Paysan show) reveal a rainbow of colors, amidst real fruits and adorable leather charms. And small wicker baskets await you at the entrance to accompany you during your market experience!
