For several months now, I have been observing outfits adorned with an accessory that is both intriguing and enchanting. I will call it: the object necklace. Blending artistic and poetic spirit, this piece inspired by nature or our habits boldly replaces our traditional chains and pendants. Combining raw materials with natural shades, this neck jewelry dresses an outfit with its aura, bringing a note of serenity to the whole. Rethinking the notion of minimalism, it stands out as the signature piece of the lazy luxury trend.
The Object Necklace: A Return to Essentials
The object necklace offers a sensory journey through its materials and inspirations. It evokes a return to essentials, a quest for simplicity and calm, far from all the rhinestones and glitter that can sometimes adorn our adornments.
The materials used lean towards organic substances, such as wood, porcelain, mother-of-pearl, shells, glass, silk, or leather. These are paired with a palette of soft colors, ranging from whites to creams, including more intense shades like brown and black.
