Paris Fashion Week: 5 Unforgettable Moments!
This publication is also available in: Français Deutsch Italiano Español
The Paris Fashion Week always brings its share of surprises, and this year again, the capital showcased its sense of style with breathtaking shows and presentations. On the designer side, we witnessed exceptional innovations and crazy castings.
Now that the excitement has settled, I propose a look back at the five most incredible moments of this Paris Fashion Week that left a mark on everyone.
1/ The Air Swipe Bag by Coperni sets Paris Fashion Week ablaze
The star of the show Coperni, German model Leon Dame, closed the show carrying the bag Air Swipe, which subsequently ignited all social media.
Made of 99% air, the handbag, which captures the rounded design of the house, is a feat in the fashion world. Manufactured in Athens, it contains aerogel, a substance similar to glass foam, originally used by NASA. The aerogel allows for capturing stardust from a satellite.
A technological first from the two French designers Sébastien Meyer & Arnaud Vaillant, who had already made waves with the custom-made dress for Bella Hadid for the spring/summer 2023 collection.
@voguemagazine This bag is 99% air, and 1% glass. Coperni’s Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant redesigned their Swipe bag using a material that NASA originally developed to catch stardust, and #LeonDame had the honor of carrying it down the runway on the penultimate day of ParisFashionWeek. #TikTokFashion

2/ Paris Hilton walks the runway for Mugler
Burlesque and dramatic, the Mugler show was a true spectacle that dazzled guests. First, let’s talk about the casting with Amelia Gray and her incredible sway, Alex Consani, and Irina Shayk. The theatrical staging was stunning, with curtain drops revealing the backstage decor.
And then, the surprise no one expected: Paris Hilton caused a sensation by arriving on stage wearing a short black dress adorned with shoulder pads, her hair pulled back into a bun, holding a half-moon bag, and sporting a rather dark and bold makeup.
Casey Cadwallader made a strong impression with a show that will be remembered in Paris Fashion Week for a long time.

3/ Brad Pitt and Penélope Cruz on the big screen at Chanel
Take a brand, a director, and iconic actors, and you have the most beautiful tribute one could pay to the film “A Man and a Woman” by Claude Lelouch.
Chanel decided to gift us this little cinematic gem full of emotion with Brad Pitt and Penélope Cruz presenting its collection.
Filmed in Deauville, in black and white, the film directed by the duo Inez and Vinoodh pays homage to the French director while infusing Chanel aesthetics.
A triumph for this show inspired by the town of Deauville. Apparently, Claude Lelouch was very moved to see his work brought back to life and even visited the shoot.
@luxury_endless Penélope Cruz, Brad Pitt, and a Chanel quilted black handbag with a chain handle come together in Chanel’s latest campaign and fall 2024 show at Paris Fashion Week. The Oscar-winning actors star in a short film directed by Inez & Vinoodh, where the iconic bag takes center stage. 4/ Kate Moss’s doppelgänger creates the illusion at Marine Serre
Guests at this show must have felt a sense of déjà vu seeing the doppelgänger of Kate Moss on stage. Denise Ohnona, her real name, is a 43-year-old model, a mother who has made her resemblance to the top her profession.
Dressed for this show in a loose white shirt and a faux leather jacket, the model sported the same hairstyle (and it’s probably what confused the guests) as the top, with her blonde hair styled like Kate Moss.
A victim of a serious bus accident that disfigured her when she was younger, she has truly reclaimed her life and now graces the runways of Paris Fashion Week for Marine Serre.

We end with the cutest moment of the Paris Fashion Week and probably of all Fashion Weeks ever!
The Chloé show was highly anticipated this year and was a success for German stylist Chemena Kamali, who joined the brand as artistic director last October.
After a show filled with chiffon featuring fluid silhouettes that were as feminine as they were elegant, representing the brand’s DNA, Chemena came out to greet. In the front row, seeing his mother, her son ran into her arms. A beautiful moment of authenticity and love that brought smiles to everyone.
