Let’s look back at 5 fashion and beauty trends to remember from the Paris 2024 Olympics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why has everyone adopted patriotcore?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Here’s another word ending in -core. Recently, aesthetics<\/em> have been multiplying, to the point of losing track. After tennis core<\/a>, which has gained popularity since the release of the Challenger film<\/a>, sport is once again influencing trends<\/u><\/strong>. However, here, it’s not the practice that inspires, but the colors of our athletes’ flags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, the Paris 2024 Olympics have transformed into a giant catwalk showcasing the best supporter outfits<\/u><\/strong>. The arteries of the French capital have seen jerseys, hats, make-up, and other t-shirts flaunting the colors of all nations. And this is not limited to fan zones by the mats! How the Paris 2024 Olympics revived grillz?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While patriotcore presents itself as a rather “obvious” trend at these games, another trend is rather… unexpected<\/u><\/strong>. Indeed, leotards were not the only things shining on the mats this year; dental rhinestones and grillz made a grand comeback between flips and twists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Long associated with 80s\/90s rap or the Y2K style<\/a>, gold dental implants, grillz, or dental rhinestones<\/u><\/strong> were part of a bygone era. However, this sparkling detail has reconnected with trends, particularly with artists linked to music like Beyonc\u00e9, Billie Eilish, and Rosalia. Recently, fashion has given it another chance, notably at Louis Vuitton<\/u><\/strong>, where Pharrell Williams reimagined it in a western cowboy vibe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to hair, practicality is the top priority. However, this hasn’t stopped our Olympians from having fun with their hair throughout the competition. The opening ceremony allowed for long hair, as seen with Ebony Morrison.
