If it wavers, it can affect our self-image, as well as friendships and romantic relationships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Passionate about well-being and mental health, I decided to regularly test self-hypnosis, and the results are impressive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For several consecutive days, I listened to an audio session on an app before going to sleep. I&#8217;m sharing my experience with you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ready to journey into the whirlpool of the mind to <strong>boost your self-esteem<\/strong>? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is self-hypnosis? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No more clich\u00e9s! We&#8217;re going to break a myth right away&#8230; you do not lose control of your mind when you are hypnotized. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Self-hypnosis is a very relaxing technique<\/strong> that allows you to change certain behaviors, <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/uk.modalova.com\/zine\/sleep-how-get-back-into-rhythm-after-vacation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">regain a better rhythm of life<\/a> by entering a modified state of consciousness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal of self-hypnosis is therapeutic. It is built in childhood and can be shaken by experiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are all born with incredible self-confidence. Unfortunately, life experiences often lead to our self-esteem being well shaken. Look at children. They are ashamed of nothing, live in the moment, and fully experience their emotions! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why is self-hypnosis a valuable tool for boosting self-esteem? Because it directly touches our unconscious and changes beliefs directly from our unconscious. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is one of the fastest solutions to <strong>overcome your blockages and take back control of your life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to practice self-hypnosis? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For a successful self-hypnosis session, find a calm place and wear comfortable clothing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personally, I like to lie down in bed with a blanket to feel warm. I use a (paid) app, but there are free audios on YouTube. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use headphones to be in your bubble and avoid being disturbed by small noises. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Count on spending between half an hour to an hour for your session. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The beginning of the session will serve to relax you and <strong>prepare your mind to positively receive suggestions.<\/strong> You will then breathe from your belly until you are completely relaxed. In a second phase, you will enter a state of introspection of your body, and finally, you will be ready to follow the instructions and suggestions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What self-hypnosis does to your unconscious<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A fundamental concept of Freudian psychology<\/strong>, the unconscious acts &#8220;on our behalf&#8221; on our behaviors, and let&#8217;s be clear, it is not always our friend! It is indeed our unconscious that creates these limiting beliefs and certain repetitive patterns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hypnosis acts on our unconscious in a state of absolute relaxation by <strong>replacing negative beliefs with positive ones.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this practice, it is possible to return to the heart of a memory and change the emotions attached to a certain event. First: you can practice alone and at your own pace. Then, it is a quick therapy that addresses a specific issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Working on self-esteem is so important that I think I will repeat this practice from time to time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Taking care of your mental health<\/strong> is essential.
