But instead of getting depressed when you&#8217;re single or only making yourself look good once a year, why not seize this occasion to take care of the most important person in your life \u2013 the one you learn to love over the years: yourself?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, it&#8217;s the perfect time to talk about love. Love for a partner or a dear one, of course, but also <strong>self-love, or <em>self-love<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Far from being selfish, cultivating self-love is essential to our well-being. The more we love and respect ourselves, the more positivity and love we attract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So whether you&#8217;re in a relationship or not, here\u2019s a <em>wellness routine<\/em> to adopt for a <strong>Valentine&#8217;s Day<\/strong> that is, of course, all about love!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8AM-10AM<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The day starts with rituals you wouldn&#8217;t miss for anything in the world. And if that&#8217;s the case, I recommend adopting them every day, even if it&#8217;s just to dedicate a few minutes to each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Have a coffee&#8230;before looking at your smartphone<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a habit I picked up a few months ago, and I savor my morning coffee 100% while watching the day break from my veranda. I don&#8217;t have a big house or much time for myself, but I give myself this moment in the morning to wake up and think positively about my day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is it tempting to check your phone in the morning? At first, yes, I won\u2019t lie to you. But quite quickly, you enjoy your coffee in peace, especially without stumbling upon bad news on Instagram or checking your bank account, for those who are more concerned!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tidy up<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We agree, there are more exciting activities&#8230; yet, there\u2019s nothing better than <strong>starting the day in a clean<\/strong> and organized environment. Let\u2019s move on to the <strong><em>skincare<\/em> for a deep dive into <em>self-love<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start with a shower or a bath. If you have a bathtub, feel free to add a few drops (maximum 10) of true lavender oil to your bath. Known for its calming and antibacterial properties, lavender soothes and, in small doses, helps the skin to heal and regenerate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Essential oils are wonderful tools for beauty and wellness care, but they should be used with caution. Remember to respect the dosages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hair mask<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once comfortably settled in your bath, or before your shower, depending on your preference, think about giving yourself a hair mask. It can be store-bought or homemade with clay, honey, an egg, or a few drops of broccoli essential oil mixed with coconut oil&#8230; Hundreds of combinations are possible. Again, respect the dosages to achieve the best results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Body scrub<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Take care of your body with a gentle scrub that will remove dead skin. Again, you can choose to buy it commercially or prepare it yourself with coffee grounds, for example. Just <a data-old-href=\"https:\/\/www.modalova.fr\/zine\/le-yoga-du-visage-5-minutes-par-jour-pour-faire-plus-jeune\/\">5 minutes of face yoga<\/a> a day can show improvements, provided you make it a regular practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For skincare, I recommend adopting the Korean 10-step routine. Remember to apply sunscreen in the morning, even if it&#8217;s cloudy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10AM-12PM: Brunch<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After all these (relative) efforts to take care of yourself, it\u2019s time to move on to the most enjoyable part: eating! <strong>Brunch is ideal<\/strong> for the variety of healthy foods and its perfect mix of dairy, fruits, and proteins. Whether on foot or by bike, whether you&#8217;re going to the bakery to stock up on chocolate croissants or going for a run, it doesn&#8217;t matter, the important thing is to get outside and <strong>move<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1PM-3PM<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s yoga time!<\/strong> After eating and seeing the light of day, I always plan an hour of yoga into my day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether it&#8217;s dynamic like Vinyasa yoga or calming like Hatha, it&#8217;s up to you to choose what feels good for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Meditation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a practice that works wonders in the morning, but especially after a yoga session.
