Jean Imbert, an extraordinary journey to Mickey’s home<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

He has been everywhere since his victory in season 3 of Top Chef in 2012. He is at the helm of the Plaza Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e<\/a> and Monsieur Dior<\/a> in Paris, at La Case<\/a> in Saint Barth, and also in the kitchens of the prestigious Orient Express<\/a>. He is friends with stars, from Omar Sy to Pharrell Williams<\/a>, and is adored by critics. It\u2019s no surprise to find the chef at the head of a new major project, The Secret Forest by Jean Imbert<\/a>. Passionate about the Disney universe since childhood, the chef shares: \u201cWhat I wanted to convey in the menu is this invitation to travel through the Disney worlds found at Disneyland Paris. I offer diners a journey from one universe to another through the dishes, from The Little Mermaid to Ratatouille, passing through Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean<\/u><\/strong>, always with a concern for respecting the seasonality of the products. With this menu, I hope that customers will enjoy an enchanted interlude in an environment inspired by the legendary forests found in some of Disney’s Classics!<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An extraordinary menu inspired by Disney films<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Among the dishes featured on the menu of The Secret Forest, the culinary adventure can, by choice, begin with \u201cUnder the Sea<\/u><\/strong>\u201d, an appetizer with flavors of the sea inspired by the Walt Disney animated film The Little Mermaid. This colorful dish composed of just-cooked langoustines, shellfish \u00e0 la marini\u00e8re, a touch of caviar, and sea jelly, will amaze diners. On its part, \u201cMadame Samovar’s Broth<\/u><\/strong>\u201d promises an excursion into the castle of Beauty and the Beast, with its root vegetable ravioli and vegetable and truffle broth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These creations, imagined by Chef Jean Imbert and his executive chef Moussa Konat\u00e9<\/a>, leave room for dishes inviting escape. \u201cThe Prince Ali Tagine<\/u><\/strong>\u201d, a dish with sunny flavors inspired by Aladdin, reveals a stuffed chicken with dates and dried fruits accompanied by its vegetables, while \u201cThe Caribbean Casserole<\/u><\/strong>\u201d, inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean films, proposes a fine alliance between the medium-rare Mediterranean tuna, its tangy passion fruit vinaigrette, and its Colombo and Tamarind spice sauce. \u201cRemy’s Ratatouille<\/u><\/strong>\u201d, with its tomato water and white balsamic condiment as well as \u201cTony and Joe’s Spaghetti<\/u><\/strong>\u201d, with its confit veal, tomato veal jus, and Comt\u00e9 emulsion, offer a gourmet immersion into the world of Ratatouille (Pixar) and Lady and the Tramp<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A children’s menu and dreamy desserts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the table of The Secret Forest, the chef has, of course, thought of the children. He offers them \u201cThe Godmother’s Soup<\/u><\/strong>\u201d, a warm and indulgent reminder of Cinderella<\/u><\/strong>, with pumpkin and chestnut gnocchi, as well as \u201cThe Lantern Festival<\/u><\/strong>\u201d, a journey into the world of Rapunzel<\/u><\/strong> with its fish & chips and tartar sauce. Finally, guests will have the choice among an assortment of desserts, for both adults and children, created by Jean Imbert in collaboration with his pastry chef Axel Michenaud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The journey continues with \u201cThe Sand of the Lost Ark<\/u><\/strong>\u201d made of candied lemon and almond crumble, enhanced by ice cream and vanilla mousse, all drizzled with a flowing caramel, recalling the famous story of Indiana Jones<\/u><\/strong>. Chocolate lovers can finish beautifully with the \u201cMickey Souffl\u00e9<\/u><\/strong>\u201d made with Peruvian chocolate, featuring a hazelnut praline insert and hazelnut ice cream. Children can enjoy, among others, \u201cTic & Tac’s Frozen Hazelnut<\/u><\/strong>\u201d with its hot chocolate emulsion or \u201cLittle John’s Fruit Salad<\/u><\/strong>\u201d with crunchy tuile and vanilla juice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fairy-tale decor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Within The Secret Forest by Jean Imbert, creativity is expressed both on the plate and in the scenography where every detail serves the immersion. Like this majestic Murano chandelier, adorned with foliage and birds, which overlooks the central dining table, diffusing a warm light. The mural, entirely hand-painted, illustrates a forest with a thousand shades of green. The tableware signed by the Bernardaud House<\/u><\/strong>, with its botanical patterns, specially created for the restaurant, along with a selection of silverware from the Christofle House, contribute to providing diners with an unforgettable experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
