The Berlin Fashion Week is in full swing, and we started this edition smoothly with a day dedicated to vintage and cool vibes before diving into the excitement of the shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this first fashion outing, we pushed open the doors of the Berlin pop-up store Doppelreiher for a fitting session that we love: spontaneous, joyful, and full of discoveries. Between rare pieces, impeccable cuts, and beautiful surprises, we uncovered hidden treasures from the independent fashion scene that we hurried to try on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s our top selection: the most beautiful pieces found, tried on, and (almost) adopted, to discover right here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The Modest Summer Dress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s the color of the season (butter yellow), beautifully embroidered, and incredibly sturdy.
The only downside: with a dress like this, I quickly look like a Mormon woman ready to bake pies before heading to mass.
But wearing it\u2026 it\u2019s a true delight!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The quality of the materials is an essential criterion to consider when purchasing clothing, whether new or vintage. So when you stumble upon a somewhat older piece, yet still supple and solid, you know you\u2019re dealing with true beautiful quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. The Jean-Paul Gaultier Jacket<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t get the chance to wear a blazer that\u2019s this well-cut every day. (and it\u2019s signed Jean-Paul Gaultier<\/a>). The result: it runs large, the shoulders are very squared, and one shoulder looks wider than the other. However, the English uniform vibe with these patterns, we love it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. The Sculpted Bag<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The sculpted design on the bag is in perfect condition. So perfect that I didn\u2019t dare to carry it and left it on the shelf. Of course, you can buy it and wear it, just as much as simply admire it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sculpted image reminded me of a biblical scene with the donkey. The leather of the bag has surely been restored. It\u2019s undoubtedly an exceptional piece that I didn\u2019t dare to touch!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. The Vintage Gold Dior Jacket<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On my own, I would have never tried it on; I would have looked at it from afar, as it’s too bling for me. And yet\u2026 this jacket that I thought was unwearable is simply stunning. The cut is sublime, the material supple, even if you remain a bit on guard while wearing it, fearing to damage it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had so much confidence in this jacket that I could have gone straight to the interview to become the worthy successor of Anna Wintour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No doubt: clothing plays a huge role in how we feel. This jacket is living proof!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. The Pink Blazer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A blazer doesn\u2019t necessarily mean a black or gray jacket for work. No, no, it can very well be pink, with simple floral patterns, like this one. Marie would have loved to take it home, but unfortunately\u2026 we were kindly asked to return it upon leaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s what\u2019s truly wonderful about the Doppelreiher pop-up during this Berlin Fashion Week (and more broadly in second-hand): some pieces that we\u2019re used to wearing in a classic way stand out here with vibrant and fresh colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. The Embroidered Dress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It looks straight out of a movie, and I can easily imagine running through a field of poppies in the summer, in the mountains. Yes, fashion sparks the imagination!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What immediately catches your eye is the meticulous embroidery work and the colors of the illustration on the front of the dress, which alone tell the story of this garment. Not to mention the marked waist cut and the skirt made of two layers. To break the overly romantic image of the piece, we pair it with a chunky pearl necklace and cowboy boots, guaranteed to give a cowboy effect!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. The Prada Sandals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Green sandals Prada<\/a>? Of course. Trying on vintage pieces from the 1970s-1980s makes you aware of the aesthetic changes between generations. And you can say they were much more optimistic\u2026 back then!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These sandals have a vintage look, and they truly are. We love the big buckle that adds a little \u201cI own it\u201d vibe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn\u2019t try them on, but they seem comfortable enough to make their way to the Berlin Fashion Week shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. The Cowboy Jacket<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This jacket! If Beyonc\u00e9 came to the Doppelreiher pop-up store, there\u2019s no doubt: this is THE piece she would leave with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collar finishes are impeccable, the flowers add a feminine touch, and the simple colors: red, black, and white clearly evoke the Wild West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To the touch, the shirt is incredibly soft. In short, if Beyonc\u00e9 hasn\u2019t bought it yet, it\u2019s clearly a good investment for her next concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. The Impossible Heels of Berlin Fashion Week<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Did I try to walk in them? Yes. Did I succeed? Yes\u2026 for three meters, no more. Well, aside from being unwearable for me (I haven\u2019t worn heels this high in a long time), they are stunning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the big difference with standard heels: the quality.
The quality of the materials and the attention to detail always make the difference between a good product and a true luxury piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. The Dreamy Cowboy Boots<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I love cowboy boots, yet I never wear them. Why, I don\u2019t know, but that might change with these. The leather is clearly vintage, and they were surely loved before finding their way to Berlin Fashion Week. These pointed-toe shoes are made to last and to be loved again, and that\u2019s a good thing. Their rock and roll vibe is balanced with a little heart in the middle of the eagle embroidery, which is why they perfectly pair with a long embroidered dress as well as a cowboy outfit!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
