While it has not always been popular, confinement has nonetheless restored the ballet flat’s reputation. Behaviors have changed, and basics have come back in fashion, benefiting the flat shoe.

While the iconic ballet flats are still around, we now find more contemporary or whimsical models. High-fashion houses do not hesitate to modernize this spring shoe with rhinestones, bows, jewels, etc.
